My artwork moves through a process of creation and change, deletion and reformation, cautious experimentation. Each image is a personal memoir and a wily balance between reveries and nature, always for me the richest inspiration. The relationships of dark and light, visually and spiritually, draw me into the practice of art. I want my work to be lush, exotic, intricate, subtle. I want it to happen much faster, but art has a life of its own and dictates its own evolution apart from my wishes.
I imagine that those who have interest in my fine art will contribute their own visions, adding interpretations to the images in ways that are beyond my experience. I suspect most artwork is seen differently through each individual set of eyes; my pieces are augmented by this and, hopefully, enhanced by the viewers' own perceptions.
